Because it determines the system size, not your roof area. A kilowatt-hour you use yourself saves you the full electricity price; one you export earns only 7,70 ct/kWh. Anyone who sizes the system to fill the roof rather than to match your consumption is selling past your interests. Your consumption also decides whether a battery makes sense, and how big.
You normally hear back within 24 hours. A firm fixed-price quote follows the free on-site visit, usually within one to two weeks.
On a typical detached house the benefit is around 1.839 € a year, and the system has paid for itself after about 8 years. Whether that holds for you depends on roof, consumption and shading – which is exactly what we work out. If it is not worth it, we will tell you that too.
